grown, to verify new information that has been

potential connections for others.

consider inviting others who are interested in
genealogy to become part of your experience at

username to enter when they sign up and we will

Sometimes researchers think of the National
Archives and only think of Washington D.C. In
reality, however, the National Archives also has
facilities in Alaska, Arkansas, California,
Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas,
Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New
York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and
Washington.
You can find the addresses, driving directions,
and hours of operation of each of these facilities
at www.archives.gov.
Click on Locations/visit us.
Some of their
holdings are also listed.
Two things to remember about these facilities.
The records don't always pertain to the region
they are housed in and the records may not be
available at these regional archives.
You can usually get a list of the complete
holdings of the facilities by contacting them and
requesting the listing.
